The Banner Group was the brainchild of Isobel Bagwell,  and is now known as the Arts and Craft Group.   It has been going for over 10 years when she was joined by Grace Lamont and May Traquair.  As the goup established,  others joined including Hilda Roberson who now organises it.

The purpose of the Group was to make anners for the Church, which are now displayed in the Church,  plus the Christmas ones which are displayed during Advent.
Over the years, we have also put our talents to Arts and Crafts which we sell at the Church Fete and Christmas Tables in the Church Hall leading up to Christmas to make funds for the Church.

The group meets on Turesday afternoons from 1.30pm to 3.30pm and we are always looking for new members no matter their level of experience, male and female.

If you can't join us but wish to contribute your craft work, all donations will be gratefully received.

Feel free to come along and joint us.

A message received from Hilda Robertson...

It is with much regret that we are having to cease meeting every 2nd Tuesday for a natter and crafting.

The reason for stopping the group is that our hands and eyes are not as young as they used to be although in mind we could have gone on forever!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all who supported us in every way over the years.

From the Arts & Crafts Group

The congregation thanks the group for their service through the years and their efforts in helping raise well needed funds for the church.
